Permissions based Object Security
Worked on implementing permissions based (Read, Write, Grant) object security for a Business Intelligence Application.
I worked on the middle-tier services, getting data from the security and object explorer services and converting into a format usable by the presentation layer.
Also, since this was a middle tier service, testing and debugging was difficult, since there was no direct way to access this. Thus to alleviate that problem, I programmed an interactive console to directly communicate with the service. It presented the user with a command line like interface to easily run commands directly on the service itself.
